What if I haven’t received my booking confirmation?

Most bookings are confirmed straight away via email, so please check your spam folder if there's nothing in your inbox.

You can also check the status of your booking online:

Please make sure you're signed in on our website. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner to open the 'My account' menu, then select 'My bookings'. There, you can view your booking details, check the status, open your voucher or cancel your booking.

Tip: Check your spam folder and always double-check your email address when booking.

Will I have to pay for anything when I pick up my car?

In most cases you'll need to provide a credit card in the main driver's name to cover the security deposit. This is not a payment in the first place, but a temporary hold placed on the card. Please note that only a few rental companies accept debit cards for the deposit – make sure to check the rental terms of the specific offer. The car rental company may charge you for:

extras (GPS, child seats, etc.)fees (young driver fee, one-way fee, etc.)any additional cover that you buy on site

Tip: Review your booking voucher and rental terms to avoid surprise charges at the counter.

How do I access my booking online?

Please make sure you're signed in on our website. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner to open the 'My account' menu, then select 'My bookings'. You will see all active, past and cancelled bookings. From here you can view your booking details, check the status, open your voucher or cancel active bookings.

Tip: Log in using the email you booked with and check the 'My bookings' section.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

Almost all of our offers are labelled as 'Free cancellation'. If you have booked one of these offers the cancellation rule applies as follows:

  1. If you cancel more than 24 hours before local pick-up time, you'll receive a full refund.
  2. If you cancel less than 24 hours before local pick-up time / at the pick-up, you may receive a partial refund. The refund amount consists of the total amount paid minus the rental price for 3 days - if your car was booked for 3 days or less there will be no refund.
  3. If you cancel after your rental is due to start (or you just don't turn up) you'll receive no refund.

There will be no refunds for offers labeled as 'non-refundable'.

Tip: Cancel at least 24 hours in advance to qualify for a full refund.

What if I want to take my rental car to another country?

Taking your rental car across borders is often possible, but it depends on the rental provider and destination – please check the terms and conditions. Cross-border travel must be approved in advance or at the counter for insurance reasons and may involve an extra fee.

Tell us while booking and we'll handle the rest: Click on the offer, scroll to the 'questions, requests or comments' section, and choose your destination under 'Cross border'. Otherwise give us a short notice, via email including your booking number.

Tip: Always inform the rental company of cross-border plans to avoid invalidating your insurance.
